    Unfortunately this is the best image I have of the headlight before I painted it. As you can see, it is a combination of materials; Plastic, brass, and abs.

    I got the proportions for the head light from the xerox image of the 1923 Lanakila. I could not find a headlight anywhere that was close to the dimensions I need much less the style.

    It is hard to tell from the proto image I have exactly what the head light looks like. So mine is an approximation. The only thing I know with 99% certainty is that it scales out to about 7/8 of an inch.

    I have some brass tubing left over from another project that is 7/8". I solder a piece of shim stock to the back of the tube and epoxied the number boards, the mount and that thing on the top to the head light.


    As you can see from the image above, it is good enough for now. Some day when I get some better pictures, I will fabricate a more exact copy of the prototype headlight.
