Coach 64 Threshold plates-
Richard Kapuaala Date: Fri, 1 Dec 2017 10:57:48

Well, I finally broke down and bought a 3D printer and I'm glad I did! My printer arrived Wednesday so I started right in printing.
It took me a while, but I finally figured out the settings and got a good print.

Of course, it's not perfect, but it is close enough that it will look convincing on my 7/8ths scale coach 64 build. Unfortunately the lettering is so small bits of it didn't print out and my shaky hand ruined to the good stuff. The other six plates above it were me getting used to tweaking the print parameters. I chose the threshold because it is small and I wanted to learn quickly by mistakes. Still, it took over two hours for the first plate to print and it was the worse one. It took an hour and 6 minutes to print the good one and I was so excited I didn't even waste time painting it.
